Biography
Professional Experience and Education
Specializing in events, project management and communications, Julia thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys taking on challenges. While working in the events industry for over five years, she has learned from many experts and expands her skills frequently.
After graduating from George Brown College's, Special Events Management program with Honours in 2019, Julia began her events career with the Economic Club of Canada. During her time with the Economic Club, she oversaw logistics and marketing, coordinated various panels, keynotes and discussions, ranging in size from 100-1500 guests. Julia had the opportunity to lead the coordination of events with prominent dignitaries, including President Barack Obama (USA), President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Ukraine), Hon. Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance (Canada). She is well-versed in corporate settings and government protocol.

Julia completed a Certificate in Strategic Marketing Management from Toronto Metropolitan University in August 2021. Following, she served as Director of Events and Operations at Conscious Economics, overseeing a variety of events and educational programs across Canada. Most recently, she successfully completed a public relations graduate certificate from Humber College. Now at RBC Wealth Management Canada, Julia works on the corporate communications team, creating internal content for publications, communications plans, and works on various projects.
She continues to focus on freelance event, project and day-of wedding management. When not working, Julia actively volunteers within the Ukrainian-Canadian community and serves as a board member on the National Executive Council for Plast, Ukrainian Youth Association of Canada. She received a Ukrainian Canadian Youth Leadership Award of Excellence in 2022 for her outstanding leadership and significant contribution to the broader community from the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.
